: to enable the Grantee to complete the formal arrest diversion process so fewer students are caught in the school-to-prison pipeline and to work to ensure equitable educational services for Baltimore students during the COVID-19 pandemic, including closing the digital divide
: to allow the Grantee to hire individuals with federal government experience to support work in three high priority areas that face immediate challenges: racial justice; economic advancement; and government transparency and accountability
: to provide general operating support for Legal Defense and Educational Fund and project support for the Grantee’s project, the Legal Strategies Collaborative, to reform school discipline efforts
: to support an effort to build a litigation strategy that capitalizes upon a newly constituted Supreme Court to make jurisprudential gains on key open society priorities
