: To support the reestablishment of a pan-European fact-checking initiative in a form of a six-month pilot project carried by the Poynter’s International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN). The grant will provide funding for a full-time project coordinator and cover translation services for the duration of the project. The “FactCheckEU Alliance” will share regular fact-checks, debunked hoaxes and data with all interested parties regardless of their position on the European integration in the run up to May 2019 EU Parliamentary Elections.
